SPRINGFIELD,Mass.(October 12, 2000)-- John Learson (Chelmsford, Mass.) shot a 20th place, 82 as the Franklin Pierce men's golf team placed seventh at the Western New England Invitational, held at veterans Golf Club in Springfield, Mass.

Justin Adams (Ashby, Mass.) and Tim Esposito (Brewerton, N.Y.) also had good showings on the day. The duo tied for 24th place in the field, each shooting a round of 83.

The golf team is back in action on Wednesday when the Ravens host the Franklin Pierce II Invitational at the Shattuck Country Club in Jaffrey, N.H at noon.
