STOW, Mass. (April 19, 2001) - The Franklin Pierce men's golf team placed tenth at the 28th Annual Lou Flumere Massachusetts Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Bentley College at Stow Acres Country Club this afternoon.

The Ravens shot a combined 336 to tie with host Bentley in the 21-team event comprised of
Division I, II and III schools throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Freshman Aaron Nackoul (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) fired a round of 77 to lead Franklin Pierce and place fifth individually. Senior Jason Bernier (Dover, N.H./Dover) shot an 81, classmate Justin Adams (Ashby, Mass./North Middlesex) posted an 88 and junior Tim Esposito (Brewerton, N.Y./Paul V. Moore) totaled a 90 to round out the Ravens scorers.

Franklin Pierce returns to the links on Monday, when they participate in the Elms College Invitational in Chicopee, Mass.
