Northeast-10 Conference Football Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (November 1, 2022) -- Sophomore Jaden Clark (West Warwick, R.I.) of the Franklin Pierce University football team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 30, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Clark had a pair of interceptions in Saturday's 42-19 win at Post, including one in the second quarter, which he returned 27 yards for a touchdown. His other interception included a 38-yard return, which set up a 47-yard touchdown drive for the Ravens. Clark mixed in a pass breakup along the way, for good measure.

On the season, Clark has recorded 34 tackles (18 solo), including 3.5 tackles for loss. He has three interceptions, which he has returned for 107 yards and the one touchdown, and has broken up seven passes as well.

Clark and the Ravens (2-7, 1-5 NE10) wrap up the season on Saturday, Nov. 5, with an NE10 contest at New Haven. Opening kickoff is set for 1 p.m. in West Haven, Conn.
