Derek Ingui '11 enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball program in 2023. One of the most-decorated players in program history, Ingui is back in the Raven dugout as one of the team's two graduate assistants.

More than a decade after capping his playing career, Ingui still sits as the program's all-time leader in games played (224), at-bats (861), hits (301), runs scored (199) and triples (14), while also ranking second in home runs (30), runs batted in (170) and walks (84). He was a consensus All-East Region selection in his final three seasons in a Franklin Pierce uniform, including First Team honors across the board as a senior in 2011, and was an All-America Honorable Mention in both 2008 and 2011. A force in the classroom as well, Ingui was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-Region selection, and the organization made him an Academic All-America Second Team pick as a senior in 2011. He was a four-time All-Northeast-10 Conference honoree, including First Team accolades in 2009 and 2011; a three-time NE10 Academic All-Conference selection; and the NE10's Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence award winner for baseball in 2011. Ingui was a member of regional title teams for the Ravens in both 2008 and 2010.

Originally from Sterling, Mass., Ingui was a biology major as an undergraduate and earned his degree at Franklin Pierce in 2011. He is on track to recieve his MBA from the University in 2024.
