Northeast-10 Baseball Weekly Report

RINDGE, N.H. (March 21, 2022) -- Sophomore right-hander Kyle Roche (Braintree, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named as Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Roche took the ball in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader sweep of American International at Pappas Field. He needed just 102 pitches (71 strikes) to go the distance and faced only 30 batters in the contest, just three over the minimum. Roche allowed one run on three hits, walked two and struck out seven on the way to the complete-game victory.

On the season, Roche has made four starts totaling 27 innings, and has allowed five runs on 17 hits, walked 12 and struck out 35. It has all added up to a 1.67 ERA and a 3-0 record.

Roche and the Ravens (9-5) are back home this weekend for a four-game series against Bentley, beginning with a 1 p.m. first pitch on Friday at Pappas Field.
