RINDGE, N.H. (February 2, 2017) – A total of 283 student-athletes in the Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics have been named to the 2016 fall semester edition of the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, as announced last week by the Conference office. In addition, 21 student-athletes garnered perfect, 4.0 grade-point averages.

To be selected to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have posted at least a 3.0 grade-point average during the semester.

The 21 student-athletes who earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in the fall represented nine different programs: field hockey's Sarah Bjorn, Morgan Caisse and Carly Canavan; men's cross country/track & field's Alex Bonitto, Mark Choiniere, John Delahanty and Josh Ercolini; men's ice hockey's Austin Christopher and Shepheard Stahel; baseball's Andrew De Fanti and Tyler Price; men's lacrosse's Hunter Francoeur; women's cross country/track & field's Sarah Hart, Catherine Purves, Eileen Savinelli and Rebecca Zylak; volleyball's Kelsey Hausman and Madison Klusendorf; women's soccer's Anna Holtschlag; men's soccer's Niklas Laudahn; and women's lacrosse's Colleen Leonardi.

Franklin Pierce sponsors 17 sports which compete within the NE10. Of the 15 members of the Conference, Franklin Pierce's 283 honorees ranked fourth in the league, trailing only Bentley (368), Merrimack (295) and Assumption. The Ravens had 68% of their student-athletes placed on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which ranked seventh in the NE10. Adelphi (75%) had the highest percentage of student-athletes selected, followed by Le Moyne (74%), Bentley (73%), Pace (72%), Southern New Hampshire (72%) and Saint Rose (69%).
