Weekly Roundup: Ketterman NEHC Player of the Week, Franklin Pierce Puts Three on Weekly Honor Rolls

Junior piles up 10 points in 2-0-0 week

RINDGE, N.H. (November 4, 2015) – Junior forward Marisa Ketterman (Palmer, Alaska) of the Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team has been named New England Hockey Conference Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league office. In addition this week, three different Ravens have been named to their sport's respective Weekly Honor Roll.

Ketterman stockpiled points like canned goods in advance of a storm over the season's opening weekend. On Friday night at Daniel Webster, she scored twice and dished out three assists to finish with five points in the season opener. On Saturday at Becker, Ketterman put home four goals and added one assist to notch five points again and finish the weekend with 6-4-10. She was the first player in program history to score four goals in a game, and it was the second hat trick of her career.

ON THE HONOR ROLL:

(Northeast-10 Conference, unless otherwise noted)

- Kenady Kelly (Plymouth, N.H.), field hockey -- The junior scored three times in the season's final week, including twice -- one being the overtime game-winner -- in the season finale vs. LIU Post.

- Nathalia Maria da Silva (Sao Paulo, Brazil), women's soccer -- The freshman piled up five points on two goals and an assist, including one game-winning goal, in a 1-1-0 week for the Ravens.
