RINDGE, N.H. (October 6, 2015) – Freshman outside hitter Katie Leidhold (Acushnet, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player and Rookie of the Week, as announced on Monday by the Conference office. In addition, sophomore Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) of the women's golf team has been named Northeast-10 Player of the Week.

Ravens volleyball played only once last week, but Leidhold was electric in a 3-1 win on the road at Bentley. She piled up 17 kills to go with 16 digs, as she averaged 4.25 kills per set, 4.00 digs per set and 5.4 points per set in the victory. Along the way, she mixed in four service aces. On the season, Leidhold is averaging 2.74 kills, 4.20 digs and 3.4 points per set in her freshman campaign.

Meanwhile, Morrison led Ravens women's golf to a victory over the weekend at the Le Moyne Fall Shootout. While the team won in a 35-stroke blowout, Morrison had to battle to claim her individual title at the 36-hole event. She fired a 76-77--153 (+9) to win by four strokes over Post's Amber Thompson-Newton.

ON THE HONOR ROLL

- Saya Kato (Gifu, Japan), women's soccer -- Though the Ravens went 0-2-0 last week, Kato found a pair of goals, as she scored twice -- including the opening goal of the game -- in Saturday's 5-3 loss at Assumption.

- Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.), women's golf -- The freshman hot back-to-back rounds of 82 to total 164 (+20) and finish fifth overall at the Le Moyne Fall Shootout over the weekend. Her finish was the best of all freshmen in the field.
