Baseball now home Wednesday as well; both lacrosse teams to play Friday

RINDGE, N.H. (March 10, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics has announced myriad schedule changes over the remainder of the week.

With inclement weather anticipated on Saturday, the men's lacrosse team has moved its Northeast-10 Conference opener against Bentley, which was originally scheduled for noon on Saturday. The game will now be played at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13, still at Sodexo Field in Rindge. In order to accommodate the change, the women's lacrosse team's home contest against Tiffin has been moved up one hour and will now start at 2 p.m. Friday.

Meanwhile, the baseball program has announced several changes to its upcoming schedule. Scheduled doubleheaders on both Friday and Saturday at home against Queens (N.Y.) have been canceled and will not be made up. Instead, the team has added single games at home against Pace on Wednesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. and against Post on Friday, March 13 at 3 p.m.

In addition, the baseball team has made some alterations to its upcoming trip to Cary, N.C. The Ravens will now play Dowling at 3 p.m. and Dominican (N.Y.) at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 and will face Felician and Findlay at times to be determined on Monday, March 16. The remainder of the trip to Cary remains as scheduled.
