Bio

Amanda Martin enters her second year with Franklin Pierce in 2022-23. 

As an assistant athletic trainer for Franklin Pierce, Martin works primarily with the men's basketball and football programs, along with women's lacrosse, and both track and field teams (sprinters, throwers and jumpers). 

Amanda graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2018, earning a BS in health science. Throughout her time as an undergraduate student, Martin served as a member of the FPU rowing team and worked as a student first aider in the Athletic Training Room. Following Franklin Pierce, she earned a Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Merrimack College, and worked graduate clinical rotations with familiar names such as Saint Anselm College (spring football, men & women’s ice hockey, men's & women's lacrosse), and Assumption University (football) in addition to various high schools.  

Before making her return to Pierce, Martin worked as an Athletic Trainer/Medical Assistant at Atlantic Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, along with a part-time athletic trainer role in the spring of 2021 at FPU.
