Bio

Sport supervisor: men's and women's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's soccer, softball, men's and women's golf.

Jeanette McKillop, as Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance at Franklin Pierce University, oversees all NCAA compliance operations, including the certification of student-athlete eligibility for the institution's 24 varsity sports. She brings two decades of diverse intercollegiate athletic experience and education to focus on the holistic values of the student-athlete in higher education.

In that role since 2019, she has utilized the NCAA’s innovative Institutional Performance Program to make data-driven decisions that enhance the student-athlete experience. With the athletic director, she developed a four-year student-athlete curriculum that combines academic plans and one-to-one advising to foster academic excellence and prepare Raven student-athletes for life after athletics.

McKillop is responsible for the athletics department’s Title IX and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, serving on the university’s Title IX Judiciary Committee and working closely with the Title IX institutional coordinator to mentor students with conduct issues. She helped create the student-athlete grievance policy to address these issues with a consistent process.

She is an advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee composed of representatives from each sport who seek to improve the image, welfare and day-to-day life of all student-athletes through activities, social events and community service. In addition, she is faculty advisor to Justice in Action Athletic Alliance, a coalition seeking social change through effective expression, progressive education and thoughtful action.

Before transitioning to administration, McKillop spend three seasons as head coach of the women's basketball program, after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at Division I institutions including The College of William & Mary, Sacred Heart University, Lafayette College, University of California San Diego (as interim head coach) and as head coach at NAIA William Woods University. At those schools, she helped guide her teams to conference championships, NCAA and WNIT bids and developed student-athletes who attained sport and academic honors.

As Franklin Pierce adjunct faculty, she has taught Organizational Behavior, Sport and Recreation Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Inclusive Sports and Recreation and First Year Experience-The Art of Resiliency.

Jen is a doctoral candidate in (Higher Education Administration- expected graduation fall 2022) at New England College. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of San Diego and her Master of Education at East Stroudsburg University where she was named 2004  Graduate Assistant of the Year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
