10 Ravens Earn Northeast-10 Winter Academic All-Conference

RINDGE, NH (4/17/2024) – Ten Franklin Pierce University student-athletes were named to the Northeast-10 Winter Academic All-Conference list, following a release from the NE10 last week. In total, 72 student-athletes from seven sports were recognized for their academic and athletic success.

The Franklin Pierce student-athletes include:

Cody Rumsey -- Ice Hockey
Sean Trumper -- Men's Basketball
Anna Badosa Soler -- Women's Basketball
Ryan Walker -- Men's Indoor Track & Field
Connor Everidge -- Men's Indoor Track & Field
Evan McNeice -- Men's Indoor Track & Field
Tad Darrah -- Men's Indoor Track & Field
Wondu Summa -- Men's Indoor Track & Field
Briahna Bouchard -- Women's Indoor Track & Field
Tyra Felton -- Women's Indoor Track & Field

To be eligible for selection to the NE10 Academic All-Conference Teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:

  • Started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions as a significant contributor.
  • Achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) or better on a 4.0 scale.

Bentley and Southern Connecticut tied for a league-high 12 selections. Adelphi and Franklin Pierce tied for third with 10 selections each, while Southern New Hampshire was fifth with six.

Among the 72 student-athletes, just five were recognized as Academic All-Conference for the third time, including Connor Everidge, and Ryan Walker.

The NE10 also had six Player of the Year award winners on the Academic All-Conference teams: Adelphi's Katherine Marsh (Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year), Franklin Pierce's Anna Badosa Soler (Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year), Franklin Pierce's Briahna Bouchard (Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year), Pace's Sean Rorke (Men's Diver of the Year), Saint Michael's David Ciancio (Ice Hockey Co-Defensive Player of the Year) and Southern Connecticut's Justice Glasgow (Co-Women's Swimmer of the Year).
