Rowing Competes In Head-To-Head Showdown at Tufts University Invitational

MEDFORD, Mass. (4/1/23) – As the rain fell on Saturday afternoon, the Franklin Pierce rowing team made their second appearance of the spring season at the Tufts University Invitational in Medford, Massachusetts, held on the Malden River.

As was the case in last weekend’s outing at Amherst, the race was a head-to-head style with all participating boats launching at floating starts. For the Ravens varsity eight, their matchup featured a showdown with host Tufts University, who finished just ahead of the Ravens with a time of 7:43.9. The Ravens completed the stretch with a 8:04.1 race time.
