MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (1/15/23) - The Franklin Pierce University Indoor Track and Field teams made their way up to Middlebury, Vermont for the Middlebury College Snowflake Invitational at the Virtue Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon. The Ravens faced off against four additional teams at the event, with both squads placing third overall with 118 (men) and 116 (women) points scored.

PIERCE PLUS PERFORMERS – MEN:

• Junior Stephen Harris (Billerica, Mass.) cruised to a 3^rd place finish in the Men's 60-Meter Dash (7.11), 1^st in the Men's 500-Meter (1:08.00)
• Freshman Lalo Lopez (Naugatuck, Conn.) crossed 2^nd overall in the Men's 500-Meter (1:08.41)
• Junior Tad Darrah (Thetford, Vt.) placed 1^st in the Men's 1000-Meter (2:39.94)
• Junior Connor Nordmann (Bethel, Conn.) landed 1^st overall in the Men's Pole Vault (4.10m)
• Junior Sal Lando (Sterling, Mass.) placed 1^st overall in the Men's Shotput (14.32m)
• Senior Connor Everidge (Baldwinville, Mass.) claimed 2^nd place in the Men's Shotput (14.03), 1^st place in the Men's Weight Throw (15.42m)

PIERCE PLUS PERFORMERS – WOMEN:

• Senior Nyjah Young-Bey (Montclair, N.J.) finished 2^nd in the Women's 60-Meter Dash (7.89), 1^st in the Women's 200-Meter (25.72), 1^st in the Women's 400-Meter (58.32)
• Sophomore Brianha Bouchard (Winchendon, Mass.) placed 3^rd in the Women's 60-Meter Hurdles (10.05)
• Freshman Jennifer Kulick (Goffstown, N.H.) placed 1^st in the Women's Triple Jump (10.18m)
• Junior Tyra Felton (Sterling, Mass.) rounded out 2^nd overall in the Women's Shotput (11.10m), 2^nd in the Women's Weight Throw (12.10m).
  
  
  

Both squads will have the week off before returning to action at the upcoming Plymouth Panther Classic on Saturday, January 21st, hosted by Plymouth State University.
