Bio

Samuel Gagnon '21 enters his first year as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team in 2021-22.

Gagnon wrapped up his playing career on the ice with the Ravens in 2019-20, as a graduate transfer (bio). He earned AHCA All-American Scholar honors and Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll plaudits at Franklin Pierce, while tallying nine points on four goals and five assists in his final collegiate season. After completing his playing career, Gagnon completed his master's degree at Franklin Pierce while working as a graduate assistant in the University's marketing & communications office.

Prior to his time in Rindge, Gagnon played three seasons at Westfield State University. While with the Owls, he notched 8-12-20 over 58 games, including a quartet of power-play goals. Prior to college, Gagnon attended Ontario Hockey Academy.

Originally from Montreal, Gagnon is a 2019 graduate of Westfield State, with a degree in business management/marketing. He received his master's degree in sports management from Franklin Pierce in 2021.
