Northeast-10 Conference men's golf awards

MANSFIELD, Mass. (June 9, 2022) -- Junior Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) and sophomore Thomas Hickey (Moultonborough, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's golf team have both earned All-Northeast-10 Conference accolades, as announced on Thursday afternoon by the league office. Sosik was named to the All-NE10 First Team, while Hickey landed on the Third Team.

Sosik earned his second straight selection to the First Team, while Hickey earned his first career All-NE10 selection.

The duo both managed top-20 finishes at the NE10 Championship in the fall, as they were both part of a five-way tie for 13^th, to lead the Ravens to a sixth-place finish. Sosik was the leader on the course all year for Franklin Pierce, and helped guide the team to its fifth straight NCAA Championship appearance, and sixth overall.

Sosik was able to shine brightest at the NCAA Championship Atlantic/East Regional, where he was in contention for an individual qualifying spot at the national championship tournament throughout the week. In the end, the junior finished tied-sixth in the 108-golfer regional field. Hickey came home as part of a six-way tie for 69^th at the regional.
