RINDGE, N.H. (April 26, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University golf team concluded its 2010-11 season on Tuesday by winning the FPU Spring Invitational at The Shattuck in Jaffrey, N.H. The Ravens shot a 47-over-par, 335, to win the event, while the Franklin Pierce #2 team placed second with a 336 (+48). Worcester State placed third with a 357 (+69).

(April 22, 2011) – The Franklin Pierce University golf team placed sixth out of seven teams at the 2011 Elms College Blazers Invitational on Thursday at the Westover Country Club in Westover, Mass. The Ravens shot a 70-over-par, 358, during the tournament, while host-school Elms won the event with a 320 (+32).

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 20, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University golf team finished eighth at the 2011 AIC Sprinvitational on Tuesday at the Springfield Golf Club in Springfield, Mass. The Ravens shot a final round 328 (+40), to finish the tournament with a two-round total of 676 (+100). Host-school, American International, won the tournament with an 18-over par, 594.

The Ravens carded a 60-over, 348, during the opening round on Monday. Host-school American International sits in first place after one round as the Yellow Jackets shot a seven-over par, 295, during the first round.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 13, 2010) -- The Franklin Pierce University golf team finished second at the FPU Fall Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at The Shattuck Golf Course in Jaffrey, N.H. The Ravens shot a 44-over-par, 332, while Le Moyne won the invitational with a 327 (+39). Franklin Pierce Junior co-captain B.J. Powers (Southbury, Conn.), just two days after his dramatic individual championship at the SNHU Penmen Invitational, shot a seven-over-par, 79, to finish third in the individual standings. It marked his fifth top-10 finish of the fall.

Powers (Southbury, Conn.) won the individual title at the SNHU Penmen Invitational as he carded a birdie on the first playoff hole to pick up his first medalist honor this season. The Ravens, as a team, finished fourth overall with a two-round team score of 637 (+61) at the Country Club of New Hampshire in North Sutton.
