Patrick Hannon '21 moves from player to coach for the Franklin Pierce University baseball program, as he enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Ravens in 2023. Hannon will serve as one of the team's two graduate assistants.

Hannon joins the coaching staff after a five-year career on the mound, where he made 48 appearances in crimson and grey and posted a 4.59 ERA over 119.2 innings. The 6-foot-4 hurler was at his best in his graduate season of 2022, when he earned a spot in the starting rotation and struck out 60 batters on the way to a 3.63 ERA and a 6-2 record over 62 innings.

Originally from Willington, Conn., Hannon was a criminal justice major as an undergraduate and received his degree from Franklin Pierce in 2021. He is scheduled to earn his MBA from the University in 2023.
