Bio

Connor Foley enters his second year as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University cross country and track & field programs in 2016-17. In addition, Foley serves as the Graduate Assistant for Compliance & Operations within the Department of Athletics

A four-year letterwinner on the track & field team at Bridgewater State University (bio), Foley capped his career with a CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America Third Team selection as a senior in 2015. A distance runner, he captured the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference title in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the league's outdoor championships as a senior, before running his career-best time in the event at the New England Championships. Foley's work in the 2015 outdoor season helped the Bears to their third straight New England Alliance crown.

In the classroom, Foley was selected to the MASCAC All-Academic Team and to Bridgewater State's Dean's List in each of his eight semesters on campus. At the end of his senior year, he was the recipient of the University's BSU Athletics Student Leadership Award.

Originally from Foxborough, Mass., Foley graduated from Bridgewater State in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in history. He is pursuing his master's degree at Franklin Pierce.
