USTFCCCA Regional Rankings

RINDGE, N.H. (September 13, 2017) – For the first time in school history, both the Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s cross country teams are regionally ranked in the regular season, as announced on Tuesday evening by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. For the women, it also marked the first time in program history the team has been regionally ranked during the regular season.

The men are currently ranked eighth in the East Region in the first weekly rankings of the season. The Ravens moved up two spots from their preseason ranking of 10th. Meanwhile, the women, who were not ranked during the preseason, check in at 10th in the East Region.

On the men’s side, American International -- which has won four of the last five regional titles -- is first, followed by Stonehill and Adelphi. In the women’s rankings, Stonehill -- which has also won four of the last five regional meets -- is in the top spot, followed by Assumption and Roberts Wesleyan.

The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Sept. 16, when they host the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
