Women’s Cross Country’s Farago Named NE10 Rookie of the Week

RINDGE, N.H. (September 6, 2017) – Freshman Marissa Farago (Salisbury, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's cross country team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Sept. 3, as announced on Wednesday by the Conference office.
Competing on Friday at the Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals, Farago turned in a time of 19:19.12 to finish 35th. The time was the second-fastest 5K time in school history.
The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Sept. 9, when they travel to Northampton, Mass., for the Smith College Cross Country Invitational.
