Northeast-10 Cross Country Weekly Report (PDF)

RINDGE, N.H. (September 12, 2016) – Freshmen Tyler Hayes (Kings Park, N.Y.) and Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University cross country team have been named Northeast-10 Conference Men's and Women's Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the week ending on Sept. 11.

The Ravens were in action at the Smith College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. On the men's side of things, Hayes ran an 8k time of 28:54.83 to finish ninth in an 87-runner field. His performance helped Franklin Pierce to a fourth-place finish in the eight-team meet. On the women's front, Cormier turned in a 5k time of 20:43.86 to place third in a 97-runner field and lead the Ravens to a third-place finish at the 10-team meet.

The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they host the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
