Eric Roderick enters his second season as the head coach of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball program in 2024.
In his second season at the helm in 2024, Roderick saw a 2-18 overall record (.100 winning percentage) and 0-10 in NE10 play. Three Ravens were named CSC Acacdemic All-District for the efforts on and off the court.
In his first season as head coach in 2023, Roderick posted an 8-11 overall record (.421 winning percentage) and 3-8 in the Northeast-10 conference. Senior libero Morgan Schmutzler was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team.
Roderick previously served two seasons as a graduate assistant coach with the FPU program, where the team combined for a 22-25 overall record across that span. In 2022, Roderick assisted in a season that saw the Ravens finish 10-13 overall, which earned them their first appearance in the Northeast-10 Conference postseason since the 2019 campaign. In 2021, he helped the Ravens to a 12-12 overall record (6-7 NE10) through the fall season.
A native of Salem, N.H., Roderick graduated from Rivier Univeristy with a degree in business management and was a member of the Raiders men's volleyball team for four years. Roderick also earned his MBA in Sport Management from Franklin Pierce in 2023.
