Dolan Hits .550, Ravens Volleyball Season Wraps Up With Setback to Saint Rose

Franklin Pierce University volleyball freshman Cierra Dolan (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) tallied a team-high 12 kills and a personal-best .500 hitting percentage as the Ravens 2018 season concluded with a 3-0 (22-25, 15-25, 23-25) setback to Northeast-10 Conference opponent the College of Saint Rose Saturday afternoon in the Daniel P. Nolan Gym. With the victory, the Golden Knights charge ahead to 17-11, 8-6 NE10 while the Ravens suffered their 25th overall loss and 13th in league play.
Le Moyne Volleyball Defeats Ravens 3-0 Friday Night

The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team headed out away from campus for their final road trip of the season. FPU suffered a 3-0 (14-25, 15-25, 10-25) setback to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Le Moyne College Friday evening on Ted Grant Court. With the win, the Dolphins improve to 14-9, 6-7 NE10 while the Ravens lost their 12th league battle.

Franklin Pierce University volleyball junior outside hitter Sarah Roach (Provo, Utah) manufactured a match-high 15 kills with five digs on the defensive end as the Ravens were defeated by Northeast-10 Conference opponent Southern Connecticut State University 3-1 (22-25, 11-25, 25-18, 19-25) Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. With the win, the Owls advance to 15-13, 8-4 NE10 while the Ravens were defeated in their 11th conference contest.
Mineweaser Records Back-To-Back 11 Kill Matches, Ravens Lose 3-0

Franklin Pierce University volleyball freshman middle blocker Breanna Mineweaser (Honey Brook, Pa.) tallied her second straight double-digit kill game, but the Crimson and Grey were saddled with a 3-0 (18-25, 13-25, 22-25) loss against Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Anselm College Tuesday evening at the Stoutenburgh Gym. With the win, the Hawks soar to 14-9 overall, 5-5 NE10 and the Ravens lost their 10th league game.
Volleyball Downed In Five By Assumption

Two Franklin Pierce University volleyball freshman produced double-digit kills but it was not enough as the Assumption College volleyball program rallied from a 2-1 match deficit to defeat the Ravens 3-2 (25-23, 16-25, 25-23, 21-25, 17-19) Tuesday night at the Laska Gymnasium. With the win, the Greyhounds improve to 3-13, 3-7 NE10 while the Ravens fell in their ninth league showdown.

The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team was dropped in straight sets Saturday afternoon suffering a 3-0 (12-25, 14-25, 19-25) setback to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Adelphi University. With the win, the Panthers improve to 18-5, 7-1 NE10 while the Ravens lost their eighth league showdown.
Volleyball Tripped up by Pace, 3-1

RINDGE, N.H. (October 12, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team battled back throughout the proceedings on Friday night in the Fieldhouse. After falling behind 1-0, the Ravens used a 25-19 win to draw even with Pace after two sets of the Northeast-10 Conference contest. Franklin Pierce would also significantly close the gap in both the third and fourth sets after digging holes to open each set. Unfortunately though, the Ravens could not erase the deficit in either, on the way to a 3-1 loss at the hands of the visiting Setters. Junior outside hitter Sarah Roach (Provo, Utah) led all players with 18 kills, while senior outside hitter Claudia Fontanet led the way for Pace with 15 kills.
Raven Volleyball Dominates Saint Michael’s In Three Sets Tuesday Evening

Junior middle blocker Abigail Garnhart (Colorado Springs, Colo.) led all players with a match-high 16 kills as the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team rolled through Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Michael’s College 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-15) during athletes backing athletes night in The Fieldhouse. The victory was the Ravens fifth overall and first in league play while the guests dropped their 11th match and sixth conference contest.

The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team competed in their final doubleheader of the 2018 campaign on Friday at Roberts Wesleyan College. The Ravens were defeated in their first game 3-0 (20-25, 12-25, 12-25) by Urbana University and ended the nightcap with a 3-1 (26-24, 15-25, 25-15, 25-21) victory against the host Red Hawks. The split gave the Ravens their fourth win of the season.
