Bio
Whitney Cyr enters her ninth year with the Franklin Pierce University track & field/cross country program in 2021-22. Beginning with the 2018-19 academic year, she was promoted to Associate Head Coach. During track & field season, Cyr serves as the program's lead throws coach.
Over her first five years overseeing the program's throwers, Cyr's charges have posted six NCAA Championships provisional qualifying marks, tallied six All-Northeast-10 Conference awards and collected 14 USTFCCCA All-East Region accolades.
Cyr owns a level 2 specialist certification in throwing events from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). She has also earned the USTFCCCA's strength & conditioning endorsement certification.
Cyr, a 2013 graduate of Keene State with a bachelor's degree in journalism, was a standout student-athlete, as both an All-Little East Conference performer and school record holder.
