Northeast-10 Conference Track & Field Weekly Release (PDF)

RINDGE, N.H. (December 4, 2018) – Freshman Paola Brena (Queretaro, Mexico) of the Franklin Pierce University women’s track & field team capped off her collegiate debut week with her first career Northeast-10 Conference weekly award on Tuesday afternoon. She was selected as NE10 Field Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Dec. 2, as announced by the Conference office.

Brena hit the NCAA Championships provisional qualifying mark in the high jump on Saturday, in her first college meet. She cleared 1.70 meters to finish second in the event at the UMass Boston Indoor Open. It was one of three school records set on the day by the Ravens.

The Ravens return to action on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8, when they travel to New Haven, Connecticut, for the Elm City Challenge, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University.
