In the high jump, Simmons cleared a height of 1.55 meters, her best mark of 2013-14 thus far. In the triple jump, she posted a mark of 10.65 meters.

The highest finish of the day for Franklin Pierce came in the 4x100-meter relay, where it fielded a team which posted a time of 49.78 seconds to finish second. The lineup of sophomore Monique Loney (Stamford, Conn.), sophomore Jackie Price (Brick, N.J.), sophomore Nicki Zeigler (Circleville, N.Y.) and freshman Melanie Hill (Danbury, Conn.) put together a time which tentatively ranks fourth in the Northeast-10 on the season, though the national reporting site has yet to be updated with all of Saturday's meets. The mark is the best time of the season for the Ravens in the event.

Hill also had a top-five finish as an individual on Saturday, as she ran a time of 13 seconds flat in the 100-meter dash. The time is currently 15th in the Northeast-10 and was good for fourth at the meet. Also on the track, freshman Breigh Souliere (Cumberland, R.I.) finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, stopping the clock at 15.53. The time is her fastest of the season and ranks 11th in the Northeast-10.
