Swimming’s Maggie Miller Named NE10 Rookie of the Week

RINDGE, N.H. (October 18, 2017) – Freshman Maggie Miller (Northampton, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University swimming team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 15, as announced on Wednesday by the Conference office.

Miller picked up two individual wins and was a part of two relay wins in Saturday’s tri-meet against Colby-Sawyer and St. Joseph’s (Maine), helping the Ravens to a pair of wins in the process. Individually, she won the 50-yard butterfly (29.82) and 100-yard butterfly (1:08.33). She was also a part of winning relay teams in the 200-yard medley relay (2:02.73) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:50.56).

The Ravens return to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 21, when they travel to Keene State to take on the host Owls, as well as Colby-Sawyer and fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Saint Michael’s, in Keene, N.H.
