Bio

Gabriela Braga '18 wrapped up her second season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University women's soccer team in 2019.

Braga joined the Ravens coaching staff after wrapping up her collegiate playing career in Rindge in 2017 (bio). As a senior transfer, she garnered a host of awards in her lone season in crimson and grey. An anchor on the back line for the Ravens, Braga started in all 19 games and picked up four points on two goals and two assists, on her way to All-East Region First Team honors from United Soccer Coaches. In addition, she picked up All-Northeast-10 First Team accolades as well.

Braga came to Franklin Pierce after spending the 2016 campaign at the Division I level with Creighton University. Previously, she played under head coach Jonathan Garbar at his previous stop, Monroe College, for her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil, Braga is a 2018 graduate of Franklin Pierce, with a degree in sports and recreation management. She is pursuing her master's degree from the University as well.
