Ester and Schneider Named NE-10 Scholar-Athlete Finalists

RINDGE, N.H. (May 25, 2009) Franklin Pierce University senior student-athletes Brittany Ester (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) and Coursen Schneider (Stony Point, N.Y./Avon Old Farms) have been named 2008-2009 Institutional Scholar-Athlete honorees by the Northeast-10 Conference.
Five Ravens Land On Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team

RINDGE, N.H. (February 9, 2009) Five Franklin Pierce University student-athletes have been selected to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team for the fall season, as announced on Feb. 6 by the conference office. Sophomore midfielder Johan Torstensson (Falkoping, Sweden) of the mens soccer team; senior goalkeeper Brittany Ester (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East), sophomore forward Angelika Johansson (Falkenberg, Sweden) and junior defender Rachel Smith (Chichester, N.H./Bible Baptist (Pa.)) of the womens soccer team; and senior middle hitter Nicole Buchholz (Broadlands, Va./Stone Bridge) of the volleyball team represented Franklin Pierce among the 75 student-athletes honored by the Northeast-10.
Johansson Heads List of Three Daktronics All-Americans for Franklin Pierce Womens Soccer

(December 19, 2008) Franklin Pierce University has placed three members of its womens soccer team on the Daktronics Division II All-America squads, while four earned Daktronics All-East Region honors as voted by sports information directors nationally as well as regionally, respectively.
Johansson Earns ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Honors

(November 20, 2008) Franklin Pierce University sophomore forward Angelika Johansson (Falkenberg, Sweden) has earned a spot on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America womens soccer second team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America committee. Johansson also heads a list of four Ravens to earn ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District I honors by CoSIDA members in New England and New York.
