Hilary Duda Tabbed as Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach

RINDGE, N.H. (June 5, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University Director of Athletics Rachel Burleson has announced Hilary Duda has been named as the seventh head coach of the University’s women’s lacrosse program. A four-time All-Conference selection at the Division II level at Regis (Colo.) University, she will make her head coaching debut with the Ravens.

Women’s Lacrosse Falls to No. 17 Pace in Season Finale, 17-10

RINDGE, N.H. (April 27, 2019) – An eight-goal run in the first half would provide the difference plus a goal on Saturday afternoon, as the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was defeated in its season finale, 17-10, by No. 17 nationally ranked Pace at Sodexo Field. Pace freshman midfielder Aleya Corretjer led all players with seven points on four goals and three assists in the Northeast-10 Conference affair. Freshman attack Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah) scored four times in defeat for the Ravens.

Women’s Lacrosse Downed at No. 21 Merrimack, 16-3

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (April 24, 2019) – It was 11 straight goals out of the gate for No. 21 nationally ranked Merrimack on Wednesday night, which left the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team in far too deep of a hole in the season’s penultimate game. Junior attack Ally DaCosta piled up 12 points on three goals and nine assists to lead Merrimack in what was ultimately a 16-3 win over the visiting Ravens in a Northeast-10 Conference affair at Duane Stadium.

Late First-Half Surge Too Much for Women’s Lacrosse in 19-10 Loss to No. 17 Assumption

RINDGE, N.H. (April 18, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team jumped out to a 4-3 lead after scoring three straight goals leading up to the midpoint of the first half on Thursday afternoon, but No. 17 nationally ranked Assumption took control from there. The Greyhounds scored the next seven goals to push out to a 10-4 lead and would not be seriously challenged the rest of the way. Four different players finished with at least four points as Assumption went on to a 19-10 victory in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Freshman attack Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah) tallied five points on four goals and an assist for Franklin Pierce.

#2 Adelphi Bests Raven Lacrosse 17-6

Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse junior attack Bella Lima (Hudson, Mass.) scored a team-high two goals in a 17-6 defeat to Northeast-10 Conference foe and no. 2 nationally-ranked Adelphi University Tuesday afternoon on Sodexo Field. With the win, the Panthers move to 13-1 and remain unblemished in league play (10-0) while the loss, the fourth in a row sends the Ravens to 6-7, 3-7 NE10.

Women’s Lacrosse Clipped Late at Saint Michael’s, 16-15

April 10, 2019

COLCHESTER, Vt. (April 10, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team trailed, 15-13, with under five minutes to play on Wednesday afternoon at Saint Michael’s. The Ravens would score twice in just 24 seconds to tie the game with under four minutes to play, but were unable to edge out front. Instead, Saint Michael’s sophomore attack Kaitlyn Waystack broke the tie with 2:39 to play, as the Purple Knights notched a 16-15 victory over the visiting Ravens in Northeast-10 Conference play at Duffy Field.

Women’s Lacrosse Felled at Stonehill, 17-3

EASTON, Mass. (April 6, 2019) – Stonehill scored the first 10 goals of the game on Saturday afternoon and never looked back at W.B. Mason Stadium. Sophomore attack Olivia Pino (5-1-6) and sophomore midfielder Shannon Hughes (5-1-6) finished with six points apiece, as the Skyhawks rolled to a 17-3 victory over the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team in Northeast-10 Conference play at W.B. Mason Stadium. Sophomore attack Caroline Lounsbury (Franklin, Mass.) had a pair of points for the Ravens, with a goal and an assist.

Second Half Sinks Women’s Lacrosse in 17-6 Loss to Saint Anselm

RINDGE, N.H. (April 2, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team appeared to have something cooking at the end of the first half on Tuesday afternoon, as back-to-back goals from freshman attack Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah) closed a 7-2 gap down to 7-4. However, it was Saint Anselm which had the winning recipe at Sodexo Field, as the Hawks poured in the first six goals of the second half to take control, on the way to a 17-6 win over the Ravens in Northeast-10 Conference play. Ernst finished with three goals for Franklin Pierce, while Saint Anselm sophomore attack Sarah Morey led all players with six goals.

Ernst Leads Women’s Lacrosse over SCSU in 3 OT Thriller, 17-16

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 30, 2019) – A combined 32 goals was not enough to decide a winner on Saturday afternoon at Jess Dow Field. The 33rd goal of the game was provided three overtimes deep by freshman attack Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah), to cap a five-goal outing, as the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team escaped with a 17-16 win over host Southern Connecticut State in Northeast-10 Conference play. SCSU freshman attack Karlie Rowe led all players with seven goals.

No. 19 Bentley Uses Second Half to Push Past Women’s Lacrosse, 14-10

WALTHAM, Mass. (March 27, 2019) – After clinging to a one-goal lead at halftime, No. 19 nationally ranked Bentley clamped down in the second half against the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team on Wednesday night. The Ravens were able to tie the game early in the second stanza, but Bentley then struck for six of the game’s final eight goals and pulled away late for a 14-10 victory in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field.

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. (March 24, 2019) – In the team’s final non-conference game of the season, the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team had the offense running on high octane fuel all afternoon on Sunday at East Valley School, as the Ravens rang up a 23-10 win over host Caldwell. Four different players had at least five points in the victory, led by a six-goal, one-assist outing from junior attack Bella Lima (Hudson, Mass.).

(March 22, 2019) – It was all Ravens all the time on Friday night at the Lyndhurst Recreation complex, as the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team was not slowed by chilly conditions in a non-conference contest at Felician. Freshman attack Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah) went for five points, on four goals and an assist, and sophomore attack Caroline Lounsbury (Franklin, Mass.) scored four goals of her own, as the Ravens cruised to an 18-0 victory.

(March 18, 2019) – The defending national champions looked every bit the part on Monday afternoon, as No. 1 nationally ranked Le Moyne posted a first-half shutout on the way to dealing the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team a 14-3 defeat in Northeast-10 Conference play at Ted Grant Field. Sophomore attack Erin McMullen (4-0-4) and junior midfielder Julia Sardella (3-1-4) notched four points each to lead the way for the Dolphins, while freshman attack Savannah Ernst (America Fork, Utah) had a pair of goals for Franklin Pierce.
