RINDGE, N.H. (April 30, 2016) -- The Franklin Pierce women's lacrosse team held its own with No. 2 Le Moyne for the first half, but a second-half surge of 12-1 by the Dolphins left the Ravens trailing and unable to come back, as they fell in their season finale, 19-6.

With the loss, the Ravens end their season with a record of 8-8 overall and 5-8 in conference play. The team set a new program record for wins with eight on the season. Meanwhile, the Dolphins extended their record to 15-1 overall and move on in conference play with a record of 12-1.

The Dolphins, adamant on not going into the half tied or trailing, regained the lead with two more goals to put them up, 7-5, at the half.

In the second half, Le Moyne extended its run with four more goals, to make it a 6-0 run extending through the first 10 minutes, making the score 11-5.
