RINDGE, N.H. The Ravens got on the board first with the ninth of the season for Beliveau, 83 seconds into the proceedings, but New Haven would take over from there. The Chargers poured in the next 11 goals over a span of 16:17 from the 1:55 mark to the 18:12 mark of the first half. Senior attacker Natalie Lieberman led the way, as she scored three times in the stretch -- running her season total to 42 goals -- while dishing out a pair of assists as well. Sophomore midfielder Kathryn Campbell chipped in three goals, while senior midfielder Kristina Curry added two goals and an assist.

Franklin Pierce picked up two more goals in the first half, with one each from senior midfielders Courtney Weber (Centerport, N.Y.) and Lindsey Leach (Hamden, Conn.). However, New Haven would added four more before the intermission -- including another goal for Curry and an assist for Lieberman, who finished with six points (3-3-6) -- to run the halftime deficit to 15-3.

The pace would slow in the second half, with New Haven scoring five of the seven goals in the frame to create the 20-5 final. Curry completed her four-goal day, while freshman attacker Corinne Fisher scored twice to finish with three goals in the game. For Franklin Pierce, both Leach and Beliveau added their second of the afternoon, for their sixth and 10th of the season, respectively.

New Haven won 18 of 25 draw controls on Thursday, en route to advantages of 36-18 in shot attempts and 31-16 in shots on goal. Though both teams turned the ball over 11 times, New Haven took exceptional care in clearing its own end, finding success on 11 of 12 clear attempts (91.7%), while Franklin Pierce went 9-for-17 (52.9%).
