Morrison Jumps Eight Spots On Leaderboard Friday at NCAA Championship

HOUSTON (May 18, 2018) Franklin Pierce University golfer Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) leapfrogged eight spots on the individual leaderboard during the third round of the 2018 NCAA Women's Golf Championships Friday morning.

Morrison knocked off four strokes from her Thursday showing to conclude her third 18 at 74 (+2). Through three days, the co-captain stands at 225 (+9) and in a tie for 21st place. She's behind Katharina Keilich of team leader the University of Indianapolis by 11 strokes (214, -2) for the top spot.

She started on the back nine and recorded pars on her opening four holes. Morrison birdied the short 14th hole for the second time this tournament before bogeying two of the final four holes to head into the final portion of the course at one over par. She tallied pars on holes one through four and chipped home a birdie on the par 4, 317-yard sixth hole until she rifled a bogey on 18 to conclude her morning.

Morrison will tee off from the 10th tee tomorrow at 9:35 a.m. central time.
