Morrison Competes At Second Round of NCAA Tournament

HOUSTON (May 17, 2018) Franklin Pierce University golfer Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) competed at the second day of the 2018 NCAA Women's Golf Championship Thursday morning.

The recent FPU graduate was six over par firing a 78 on the day. She tacked on five strokes to her first round showing (73, +1) as she holds a 151 (+7) through 36 holes. Morrison is tied for 29th place out of the 72 golfer field. She trails Kylie Raines of the University of Indianapolis by 10 strokes (141, -3).

Morrison began her day on the front nine and bogeyed five holes to head out to the back of the course at 41 (+5). Following a bogey and two straight pars, the co-captain birdied the 13th hole to move to five over. She bogeyed only one more hole to conclude the round at 78 (+6).
