BIG RAPIDS. Mich. (May 8, 2018) – The no. 12 regionally-ranked Franklin Pierce University women's golf program dropped to eighth place following the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament East Super Regional.

The Raven women produced a 329 (+41) showing combined with their round one total of 309 (+21) put the Crimson and Grey at 638 (+62). No. 2 Grand Valley State University (581, +5) and no. 1 the University of Indianapolis (581, +8) remained in the top-two slots while no. 5 Northern Michigan University (623, +47) slid to fourth place and no. 3 the University of Missouri – St. Louis (613, +37) climbed into third place.

Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) is tied for seventh overall at 149 (+5) through 36 holes. She tacked on seven strokes from her round one total and is currently tied with Krystal Hu of Ashland University for the top-ranked individual in the field of golfers. Morrison is tied for third in total pars (27) and ranks fifth in par 4 scoring average (4.06, +1) across the two rounds.

Every other Raven golfer added strokes to their round one performances. Zoe Yamamoto (Honolulu, Hawaii) carded an 81 (+9), Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) shot an 84 (+12) while Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.) chipped in an 86 (+14) and Rosa Jones (Mastic, N.Y.) tallied a 92 (+20).

Jones will tee off from the 10th tee tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
