Ravens Women’s Golf Picked to Win 2017 NE10 Championship

RINDGE, N.H. (September 21, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women's golf team has been chosen to take home the Northeast-10 Conference Championship this coming Sunday and Monday in a poll conducted by the leagues head coaches' that was announced Thursday morning.

The Ravens earned 34 points and four first place votes on their way to the top spot in the rankings. Last season, the Ravens were selected to finish first as well, but the Crimson and Grey placed second for third year in a row. Franklin Pierce is led by the duo of Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) and Zoe Yamamoto (Honolulu, Hawaii) who have finished within the top-five of all three tournaments so far this season.

Merrimack College, who's won the first three NE10 Championships and the so called "home" team as the Championship is hosted by the Warriors at the Haverhill Country Club, is projected for a second place finish with 32 points and three first place votes. Le Moyne College was chosen for the third place spot with 26 points while Assumption College (18 points), Southern New Hampshire University (17 points), the College of Saint Rose (12 points) and Adelphi University (eight points) round out the final four places in the projected standings.
