Raven Women In Ninth Place at Big Apple Lady Invite
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (October 17, 2016) – The Franklin Pierce Women's golf traveled south to New York State to compete in day one of the Big Apple Lady Invitational hosted by fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Merrimack at the Elmwood – Big Apple Tees.
The Ravens head into the clubhouse in ninth place after the first 18 holes. Together they are playing 341 (+53) golf. The University of Indianapolis are the clubhouse leaders at 298 (+10) followed by Missouri – St. Louis (300, +12) and Grand Valley State (303, +15).
FPU is only seven strokes behind NE-10 opponent and host Merrimack for eighth place.
Team captain Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) and freshman Zoe Yamamoto (Honolulu, Hawaii) lead the squad and are tied for 32nd place with 82 (+10) day one scores.
