NEW LONDON, N.H. (September 19, 2015) – Sophomore Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) followed up her spectacular weekend and recent NE-10 Player of the Week award with yet another great performance on Saturday afternoon, shooting an 80 (+7) after the first round of the Lady Penman Invitational at Lake Sunapee Country Club. The event is hosted by Southern New Hampshire University.

Morrison's score puts her in seventh place overall, six strokes back of the lead. Team wise, the Ravens sit third overall out of the six team field with a total of 329 (+37) after the first day.

Coming in the clubhouse close behind Morrison was a majority of the Ravens roster, as the top four finished four shots within each other. The top score behind Morrison was freshman Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.), who gave the veteran a run for her money by carding a round of 82 (+9). Sophomores Anna Haynes (Hopedale, Mass.) and Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) each shot an 83 (+10) and 84 (+11) respectively, to put the Ravens in a good spot to finish on Sunday. Sophomore Katy Lounsbery (Middletown, N.Y.) rounded out the Ravens action on the links with a card of 129 (+56).

The Ravens return to action tomorrow, Sunday, September 20 for round two of the Lady Penman Invitational at Lake Sunapee Country Club.
