ERIE, Pa. (September 13, 2015) – Sophomore Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) shot lights out, carding a tournament-best 75 (+3), putting her in a three-way tie for first en route to leading the Franklin Pierce University Women's Golf team to an 8^th place finish after day one of the Michael Corbett Classic hosted at Lake Shore Country Club in Erie, Pa.

As a team, the Ravens shot a total of 337 (+49) on the day which fell 18 strokes back of the leading team, Millersville University. Gannon University came into the clubhouse in second, five strokes back of the leaders. Individually, Kasey Frazier of Wheeling Jesuit University and Jessica Wagner from Merrimack College each shot 75 (+3) to tie Morrison atop the board.

Sophomore Anna Haynes (Hopedale, Mass.) did her part as the second-best finishing Raven, carding an 84 (+12) to end tied for 26^th in the tournament. Freshman Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.) made due with her collegiate debut for the crimson and grey, shooting an 88 (+16), while sophomore Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) pushed through with a round of 90 (+18). Rounding out the Ravens action was freshman Shannon Slater (Stafford Springs, Conn.) who finished her day with a 102 (+30).
