GOFFSTOWN, N.H. (April 17, 2016) -- Sophomore Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) fired a second-round 77 (+5) to secure medalist honors on Sunday, as the Franklin Pierce University women's golf program wrapped up its 2015-16 season with a first-place finish at the Lady Penmen Spring Classic, hosted by Southern New Hampshire at Stonebridge Country Club.

The Ravens shot a 326 as a team on Sunday to finish with a two-round total of 657 for the weekend, which was good for a 55-stroke victory over host SNHU, which finished at 712. Assumption took third place, with a two-day total of 889.

Morrison, who trailed teammate and fellow sophomore Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) by three shots heading into Sunday's final round, was one of just two players to break 80 on the day in Goffstown. Her 77 was the day's best and was good enough to rally for a four-stroke victory over Schmidt, with a two-day total of 156 (+12). For her part, Schmidt added an 84 (+12) to Saturday's 76 to finish in second place at 160 (+16).

Three of the tournament's top-five finishers were Ravens, as freshman Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.) posted an 83 (+11) to finish her two days at 167 (+23), which was good for fourth place. In fact, all five Ravens placed in the top 10, as sophomore Anna Haynes (Hopedale, Mass.) had an 82 (+10) to finish tied for seventh at 174 (+30), while freshman Shannon Slater (Stafford Springs, Conn.) had an 88 (+16) to finish tied for ninth at 183 (+39).
