BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (April 19, 2015) – Freshman Taylor Schmidt (West Springfield, Mass.) carded an 80 (+8) on Sunday afternoon, the best score in the field on the day, as the Franklin Pierce University Ravens Women's Golf team came out with a third place finish at the LeMoyne Invitational at the Timber Banks Golf Club. The course is a par-72, with a total distance of 5,162 yards.

Schmidt's score combined with her Saturday mark of 99 put her in a tie for 14^th place, while freshman Anna Haynes (Hopedale, Mass.) brought home the top spot on the team. Haynes finished seventh overall, as she shot an 83 (+11) for a tournament total of 171. Other Ravens in action were freshman Camden Morrison (Millis, Mass.) and Ashley Chubbuck (Windsor, Maine). Morrison shot an 83 (+11) on the day as well, combined with her score from the previous day gave her an eighth place finish, giving the Ravens two in the top 10. Chubbuck rounded out the Franklin Pierce lineup by shooting a 97 (+25), finishing in 23^rd.

West Chester University took home the tournament title, as well as their top golfer, Gabrielle Couture, taking home the individual championship. Kutztown would finish only six strokes back in second, followed by the Ravens in third.
