Bowling Hits the Lanes For the First Time in 2018

READING, Pa. (January 19, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University women's bowling team traveled to the Hiester Lanes for the first day of the KU Invitational, the first meet of the second half of their schedule.

The Ravens were 2-3 on Friday to improve to 23-21 on the season. Currently, the Crimson and Grey are in 22nd place with a total pinfall of 4,574 pins. McKendree University, Vanderbilt University and Fairleigh Dickinson University hold the top three spots in the rankings.

FPU faced tough challenges on day one squaring off against three nationally ranked opponents. They earned a 975-928 win in their first match of the day against no. 18 nationally-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Their second win came against Bethune Cookman, an 896-800 decision.
