Colleen Kelly Selected as ECC Scholar-Athlete

RINDGE, N.H.  (May 25, 2017) – Franklin Pierce University women's bowling senior Colleen Kelly (Qunicy, Mass.) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Bowling Scholar-Athlete of the Year it was announced Wednesday by the conference offices.

Kelly, a business management major with a 3.85 GPA earns the honor after being named to the ECC Championship All-tournament Team and finishing second on the Ravens with 289 strikes and 338 spares.

The team captain was a key component in the Crimson and Grey's success this year as she recorded the second best traditional game in program history (256) at the Bud Whitman Memorial hosted by Kutztown and helped her squad to 16 wins against nationally ranked opponents including a victory versus defending NCAA National Champion and previously no. 2 ranked Stephen F. Austin on November 18, 2016.
