NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (November 1, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University Bowling team finished their weekend strong on Sunday, winning their two matches on the day and finishing in 15^th place at the Fairleigh Dickinson University New Jersey Jamboree. Previously playing standard format over the first two days, the final days were bracketed baker-style format.

Coming in as the 18^th seed, Franklin Pierce would compete to finish as high as 15 or as low as 18 in their bracket. The Ravens first matchup came against Tulane University, and were able to take the matchup 4-3.5 in a close result. Franklin Pierce used scores of 196 & 193 out of the eight results to aid them to the win. With the win over Tulane now in their rear view mirror, the Ravens strolled on and dominated their matchup against Sacred Heart University, and with five scores up took the win 4-1. Franklin Pierce came up with scores all above 184, with the top score coming in at 220.

The Ravens will now be quiet on the lanes in competition for a little while, next taking to a tournament in a few weeks beginning on Friday, November 20 for the Hawk Classic hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
