Bio

Samantha Brenner enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University women's basketball team in 2017-18.

After spending the final two years of her collegiate career at fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Adelphi (bio), Brenner makes her collegiate coaching debut with the Ravens. A two-year starter in the frontcourt for the Panthers, in her senior season, she was fourth on the team in scoring (7.5 points per game) and third in rebounding (5.3 per game). As a junior, in Brenner's first season in black and gold, Adelphi captured Northeast-10 regular season and tournament titles and earned the right to host the NCAA Championship East Regional.

Prior to transferring to Adelphi, Brenner began her career with two years at Division I Vermont. She appeared in 32 games over two years as a Catamount, while the team advanced to the America East semifinals in her freshman season, and the quarterfinals during her sophomore campaign.

Originally from Nashua, N.H., Brenner graduated from Adelphi with a degree in sports management. She is pursuing her MBA in sports management at Franklin Pierce.
