Bio

Indira Evora enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University Women’s Basketball program in 2018-19.

Evora spent her collegiate career at fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Saint Michael's College (bio) appearing in 103 games including 92 starts in the point guard position. Evora ended her Purple Knight career 20th in program history with 1,029 points and a scoring average of 10.0 points per game. She is also seventh in school annals in free throws (264), eighth in steals (215), three-pointers (125) and free throw percentage (77.9).  Named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team in her freshman year, Evora also served as Team Captain in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons.  

Evora gained experience as a basketball camp counselor at Saint Michael's in the summers of 2014 through 2017 and coached the High School Junior Varsity Team in the 2017-2018 season in her hometown of Somerville, Mass.

Evora graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Saint Michael's and is currently pursuing her MBA in sports management at Franklin Pierce.
