Bio

Aaron Ballmer enters his first year as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Franklin Pierce University in 2018-19. He previously spend the 2017-18 year as an assistant coach with the Ravens' softball program. Ballmer came to Rindge after a seven month stint as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Brown University in Providence, R.I.

Ballmer assisted the staff at Brown with implementation of their programs for their 38 varsity Division I Ivy League teams. He taught student-athletes traditional weightlifting, Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, core conditioning, plyometric and corrective movements. While teaching his student-athletes the proper weightlifting measures, Ballmer also discussed design programs, signed off on daily workout requirements, led warm-up and workout stations for the numerous athletes. He is currently working on becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist with anticipated completion in June 2018.

The Birdsboro, Pa. native graduated from St. Bonaventure University in May 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in sports studies. Ballmer was a three year member of the baseball team (Bio) at St. Bonaventure, a Division I institution. As a student in college, Ballmer worked for the Diamond Dreams Baseball Academy as he assisted in baseball and softball techniques including pitching, hitting and velocity training. He also coordinated food and medical staff during a Special Olympics event.
