Ravens Swept in Senior Day Doubleheader

The Franklin Pierce University 2017 softball season came to an end on Saturday with two losses to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Merrimack College, a 11-1 five inning affair and a 9-0 shutout defeat. With the wins, the Warriors finish the year at 32-12, 19-5 NE10 and the Ravens conclude the campaign at 1-34, 1-23 NE10.
Merrimack Takes Game One of Three Game Weekend Series

The Franklin Pierce University softball team suffered an 8-0 six inning setback at the hands of Northeast-10 Conference opponent Merrimack College on a gorgeous Friday afternoon at the Bisaccia Softball Complex. The win improved the Warriors record to 30-12 overall and 17-5 in league play while the Ravens lost their 32nd game and 21st NE10 contest.
Ravens Drop Extra Inning Affair to Greyhounds

The Franklin Pierce University softball team hung in there with host Assumption College on Thursday and fell 1-0 in extra frames during a Northeast-10 Conference single game on Marois Field. With the win, the Greyhounds move to 17-13, 13-5 NE10 and the loss was the 29th on the year for the Crimson and Grey and the 19th in league play.
Saint Michael’s Sweeps Ravens in Doubleheader on Wednesday

The Franklin Pierce University softball team was swept by Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Michael’s College 8-2 and 4-1 in seven innings on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Purple Knights move to 10-18 overall and 9-9 in league play while the Ravens drop their 30th game overall and 19th in league play.
SNHU Blanks Franklin Pierce 9-0

The Franklin Pierce University softball team was shutout 9-0 by Northeast-10 Conference opponent Southern New Hampshire University Monday afternoon on the SNHU Softball Field. With the win, the Penmen improve to 21-17, 7-11 NE10 on the year and the loss was the 28 of the season for the Crimson and Grey.
Assumption Sweeps Ravens on Sunday

The Franklin Pierce University softball team was swept in five innings by Northeast-10 Conference foe Assumption College by 10-2 and 10-1 scores on Sunday afternoon at Marois Field. The wins move the Greyhounds to 15-13 overall and 12-5 in NE10 play while the Ravens lost their 27th game overall and 17th in league play.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 18, 2017) – In the first game on Wednesday afternoon, the Franklin Pierce University softball team was hurt by a season-high seven errors in a 9-3 loss to visiting Southern New Hampshire at the Bisaccia Softball Complex. In the second game, SNHU ambushed two pitchers for 22 runs on 18 hits in a 22-3, five-inning win to complete the sweep of the Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division doubleheader.

Franklin Pierce University junior first basemen Aubrey Bianco (Marlboro, N.Y.) combined to go 2-for-5 with her fourth home run on the season as the Ravens dropped two contests on Monday to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Saint Michael’s College. The wins improved the Purple Knights mark to 5-16 overall and 4-7 in league play while the Ravens lost their 22nd and 23rd games on the year.
Bentley Wins Season Series Versus Franklin Pierce With Two Victories Saturday

Coming off a seventh inning walk-off victory yesterday, the Franklin Pierce University softball team looked to continue their success on Saturday, but Bentley University took the final two games and the season series by a 11-8 and 10-6 margin in Northeast-10 Conference play at the Bisaccia Softball Complex. Both wins moved Bentley to 8-14, 4-7 NE10 and the two setbacks were number 20 and 21 overall on the year for the Crimson and Grey.
Ravens Rally Late to Stun Falcons 6-5

Trailing by four runs in the bottom of the sixth, the Franklin Pierce University softball team rallied to knot the contest and then pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Northeast-10 Conference opponent Bentley University 6-5 on Friday afternoon at the Bisaccia Softball Complex. The walk-off victory was the first win of the season for the Crimson and Grey and their first in league play while the Falcons fall to 6-14, 2-7 NE10.

Franklin Pierce University designated player Aubrey Bianco (Marlboro, N.Y.) smoked her first round tripper of the season as the Ravens softball team were swept in the season series on Wednesday night by Northeast-10 Conference foe Saint Anselm College 7-1. With the win, the Hawks sky to 6-9 overall and remain undefeated in league play while the Ravens are still looking for their first victory of the campaign.

The Franklin Pierce University softball team traveled cross state to Saint Anselm College and were beaten 8-1 in both games of a Northeast-10 Conference twinbill on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks soared to 5-9 on the year and evened their league mark at 3-3 while the Ravens lost their 18th game of the year and their eighth in conference play.
AIC Takes Two From Softball on Sunday

The Franklin Pierce University softball team dropped two seven inning contests Sunday afternoon to Northeast-10 Conference opponent American International College on Judy Groff Field. In game one, the Yellow Jackets bested the Ravens 6-1 and in the second contest of the twinbill they defeated the Crimson and Grey 4-1. The wins move the Yellow Jackets to 10-11, 7-3 on the year while the losses give the Ravens 16 and six in league play.

The Franklin Pierce University softball team dropped two Northeast-10 Conference contests to Stonehill College on Monday afternoon on Father Gartland Field. The Ravens were shutout by an 8-0 score during game one of the twinbill (8-0, 5 innings) and lost by a 6-1 score in the nightcap. The loss were the Ravens 13th and 14th of the season while the Skyhawks won their second and third game of the season.
