Bio

Hayley Brown enters her second season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce University rowing program in 2016-17.

No stranger to Rindge, Brown was a four-year letterwinner at Franklin Pierce. When all is said and done, there is little doubt Brown will have played a pivotal role in the resurgance and elevation of the Ravens' rowing program. She served as a team captain in 2014-15 under first-year head coach Dave DeIuliis and now transitions to the coaching realm as the program continues to re-establish itself as a competitive force in New England.

With the program reaching new high-water marks throughout her senior campaign, Brown and the Ravens perhaps shone their brightest near the conclusion of the spring season, at the New England Rowing Championships. As a member of the Varsity Four, which ultimately finished fifth, Brown was a member of the boat which allowed Franklin Pierce to put two crews through to the Grand Final at the event for the first time in program history.

Originally from Newbury, Mass., Brown is a 2015 graduate of Franklin Pierce and will pursue her master's degree in Leadership at the University as well.
